We have heard of the GoPano 360 Degree Lens early last year and even more impressed with a more advanced 360 degree photography later this year after attending the CES event. And last 2nd Feb, GoPano Team released news that their technology will be featured on Anthony Bourdain’s new show The Layover. We have seen Anthony Bourdain’s exquisite taste in culinary on the travel channel for quite a long time. In fact, we are an avid viewer of his show ourselves, No Reservations and his travels inspire us to do travel ourselves.
And if you ever have that moment while watching Anthony Bourdain’s show when you wished so badly to be with him and experience different people, different cuisines and cultures, then this new interactive features will make you go gaga over GoPano! What type of awesomeness do you think GoPano’s 360 degree lens will do to Anthony Bourdain’s already awesome new show, the Layover? According to GoPano Team, “It literally allows people to stand in his shoes, and who wouldn’t want to stand in Anthony Bourdain’s shoes? Anthony Bourdain knows that there is no better way to capture and share memorable travel moments than with 360 degree video.”
The GoPano Plus by the way is a lens that allows you to create 360 degree video and photography right on your digital camera. Think of Google Street View but this time it’s in motion… and controllable! It has a standard 67mm filter thread base for almost every camera available today.
You can catch The Layover on the Travel Channel, Monday nights at @ 9/8c.
