The 2011 Cameras for Quality and Playful 3D Product Photography

Over the years, we have witnessed how picture taking changed from black and white to colored, still to animated then just recently 360 degree viewing, short to panoramic, and from flat to full length 3D product photography. With that said different high definition cameras were released and are currently being developed for future use. This article however will focus specifically on the latest cameras that are widely available this new year that cater to 3D product photography.

What is in this 2011 are cameras that are waterproof, shockproof, durable, freeze and dust proof, or to sum it all, hardcore cameras for extreme 3D product photography are the most wanted.

Currently we have two that made it to our list, both from Olympus USA. They are the TG-610 and TG-310. Basically made for adventure or outdoor photography, this tough series of Olympus camera is also recommended in other types of photography mainly because of its outstanding image capture, not to mention their built-in effects that are of great convenience for 3D product photography.

Among the intelligent specifications that these cameras have, the 3D Photo Mode is probably the most that we admire. When camera is set to 3D Photo Mode, it will automatically capture two shots of a desired scene in different angles to give your that three dimensional effect that we are referring from the former 3D product photography blogs. This specification also allows you to shoot products under water from 10 to 16 feet below or even shoot quality 3D images of products in a freezing temperature of 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The images are saved and are automatically in .MPO file to access them in any device that supports 3D.

Lastly, we fell in love with Olympus TG-610 and TG-310 more because of their New Magic Filter specification. This allows you to create playful 3D product photography with its built-in editing and customization features.
