We have more than once felt hesitant to buy tires online and one of the most common reason for this is, what if I didn’t get my money’s worth. Well after searching on iTunes, a highly popular tire navigator app ranked number for one for winning the a Silver Addy Award (Mobile Marketing Category) at the recent American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Los Angeles regional award show. Being recognized by the AAF is truly an achievement because the judging was based on creativity and effective messaging. And since there were no gold winners in the category, Yokohama essentially took the top prize in mobile marketing.”
The Yokohama Commercial Tire Navigator app did not just make tire shopping experience much cooler, but it is highly educational as well with its Fuel Savings Calculator and an easy-to-use authentic dealer locator. According to Holtschneider, “The Yokohama Commercial Tire Navigator is both an educational resource and tool for fleet owners and truck operators. With it, they can get an in-depth look at Yokohama tires and learn which one is best for various applications and road conditions.” Moreover, Holtschneider later explained that the Fuel Savings Calculator offers essential information for vehicle owners such as the annual gallons of fuel saved, annual cost saved and carbon footprint reduced.
